Centrifuge is a commonly used separation equipment and is widely used in chemical industry, pharmaceuticals, food, environmental testing and scientific research. In order to ensure the normal operation of the centrifuge and extend its service life, it is necessary to follow certain operating procedures and carry out daily maintenance.
Before using the centrifuge, check whether the equipment is firm and stable, the workbench is flat, there are no foreign objects in the centrifuge, and ensure that the power supply is well grounded.
Select the appropriate rotor and centrifuge tube according to the model of the centrifuge and the characteristics of the material to be separated to ensure that the centrifuge can meet the requirements for separating materials.
Load the samples to be separated evenly into the centrifuge tubes, noting that the amount of sample loaded into each centrifuge tube should be the same, and ensure that the lid of the centrifuge tube is tightly closed.
Put the rotor into the rotor socket of the centrifuge and tighten the fixing screws to ensure that the rotor fits completely with the rotor socket of the centrifuge.
Set the maximum rotation speed and centrifugation time of the centrifuge according to the nature of the separated material. And ensure that the parameters set by the centrifuge are correct and appropriate.
Press the start button and the centrifuge starts working. During the start-up process, observe the operation of the centrifuge to ensure that there are no abnormal noises and vibrations.
During the operation of the centrifuge, the parameter settings of the centrifuge cannot be stopped, started or changed at will. After centrifugation, wait until the centrifuge completely stops and the material in the centrifuge tube stops rotating before opening the centrifuge cover.
Remove the centrifuge tube carefully to avoid vibration or collision, and pay attention to the temperature and safety of chemicals during the centrifugation process.
Clean the inside and outside parts of the centrifuge every time the centrifuge is used. Use a clean soft cloth to wipe the rotor, centrifuge tube and centrifuge housing, taking care not to use corrosive solvents.
Regularly inspect centrifuge consumables, such as sealing rings, 0 rings, etc., and replace them in time if they are damaged or aging.
After using the centrifuge for a period of time, the rotor may become unbalanced due to service damage. Regular rotor balance adjustments can extend the service life of the centrifuge and
ensure that the power cord and ground cord are not damaged or broken to ensure the normal operation and personal safety of the equipment.
Centrifuges should be placed in a dry and well-ventilated place to avoid moisture or heat. After the centrifuge stops running, dust accumulated inside the rotor socket and centrifuge should be cleaned up in time.
Carry out regular maintenance of centrifuges according to the frequency of use and working environment of centrifuges. Such as changing lubricating oil, calibrating speed and checking centrifuge functions. The above are the operating procedures and daily maintenance of the centrifuge. By abiding by the operating procedures and carrying out daily maintenance, the normal operation of the centrifuge can be ensured, work efficiency can be improved, and the service life of the equipment can be extended.
